Chic（シック）とは、1977年にデビューしたアメリカのディスコ・ファンクバンドである。中心メンバーはナイル・ロジャースとバーナード・エドワーズ。『おしゃれフリーク」』や『グッド・タイムス」』等のビルボードNo.1を発表し、1970年代後半のディスコ・ブームを牽引した。80年代はナイルとバーナードはプロデューサーとして活躍。マドンナやデヴィッド・ボウイ、ダイアナ・ロスなどのアーティストを大ヒットさせた。現在もナイル・ロジャースを中心に活動するダンスミュージック界のレジェンドである。
