『Ori and the Will of the Wisps（オリとウィスプの意志）』とは、Moon Studioが2019年に開発したXbox one、NIntendo Switch、Windows向けのアクションゲーム。「ニウェンの森」で行方不明となってしまったフクロウの子供「クゥ」を探すため、心優しい精霊の男の子「オリ」が壮大な大冒険を繰り広げる。『Ori and the Blind Forest』の続編にあたり、前作よりもパワーアップしたアクションやグラフィックが高い評価を受けている。
オリたちが冒険する舞台。元々はニブルの森と同じく精霊樹によって森が栄えていたが、ニウェンの森の精霊樹が寿命により枯れてしまい、その際に起こった「滅び」によって死に掛けている。かつてニウェンの森のバランスを司っていた「火の精霊」、「水の精霊」、「光の精霊」におって精霊樹の力の源である「オーブ」がどこかへと保管されている。
ニブルの森
かつてオリたちが冒険していた舞台であり、オリの生まれ故郷。精霊樹から生み出された精霊のうち、選ばれた個体が「水」、「風」、「火」の3つの属性を司り、森のバランスを保っている。
滅び
ニウェンの森の精霊樹が枯れたことにより始まった災厄。詳しいことは分かっていないが、一説によると精霊が居なくなったことによる反動で、森に残っていた精霊の力が暴走したのではないかと言われている。「滅び」は森の西から徐々に進行しており、滅びに侵された地は灰が降り注ぎ、雪に閉ざされ、生き物はみな石になってしまう。また「滅び」から運よく生き残っても、シュリークなどの異形の怪物に成り果ててしまう可能性が高い。

『Ori and the Will of the Wisps』の最初の名称は『パタゴニア』だった
開発スタジオのMoon Studioは、『Ori and the Will of the Wisps』を開発中、リーク（まだ開発段階の機密情報が第三者の手で外部に漏洩されてしまうこと）を恐れていた。そこで、正式に続編の発表をするまでの今作のタイトルは『Patagonia（パタゴニア）』と呼ばれていた。これは、Windows版の『Ori and the Will of the Wisps』のプログラム内に、プロダクトIDという形で確認することができる。
42万人がエンディングを迎え、総勢2億4千万体のオリが死亡した

2020年6月に、『Ori and the Will of the Wisps』の売り上げが200万本を突破したことを記念して、それまでのプレイヤーのゲーム内での行動を統計した情報が公式Twitterアカウントより発表された。それによれば、ゲーム購入者のうち約42万3千人がエンディングを迎え、そのうち、ハードモードをクリアした人は約4万5千人。さらに約7100人が「ゲーム内で一度も死亡せずにクリアする」という実績を獲得している。全プレイヤーのオリの総死亡回数は約2億4千万回。総プレイ時間は約1450万時間である。なお、これらの統計情報はすべて2020年6月のものである。
