デビューアルバムであるSkid Rowは1989年1月にリリースし、アルバムはすぐにヒット。"18 And Life"、"Youth Gone Wild"、"I Remember You"がヒットシングルに、アルバムは5Xプラチナムを獲得し6位に上る。1991年に2ndアルバム Slave To The Grind）をリリース、全米No1を獲得し世界ツアーを行う。1998年にセバスチャンと他のメンバーが、キッスのサポートに関して対立し、事実上解散。2000年に新たなメンバーで再結成した。
